Mikropile System
Here, we refer to small diameter grouted monobar piles or so-called micropiles with ribbed reinforcing steel bar tendons. The micropiles are encapsulated in cement grout which protects the steel bar against corrosion and transfers the load to the ground.
The thread consists of hot-rolled coarse thread ribs on both sides of the micropiles and extends over the full length of the bar.
This special configuration and type of thread offer the following advantages:
- Steel bars can be cut at any time and at any point along the length.
- The remaining lengths remain screwable.
- Splicing of bars using couplers is simple and uncomplicated.
- The thread remains screwable even when dirty or damaged.
- Thread provides maximum shear bond between steel bar and cement grout.
