Post-Tensioning System
The SPANTEC Strand Tensioning System is a process using post-tensioned tendons consisting of 2 to 22 strands with steel grades of St 1570/1770 or St 1660/1860 and nominal diameters per strand of 15.3 mm or 15.7 mm (0,6" or 0,62") which can be anchored in concrete.
The individual tensioning strands of a tensioning element comprising up to 22 individual strands are anchored together with the anchor body, with the help of clamping wedges. The transfer of the preload force is carried out directly from the anchor body to the building. Our head structure also allows for a gradual application of loads (partial prestressing).
In addition to being used as a prefabricated tendon, the SPANTEC Strand Tensioning System offers particular advantages when inserting strands into areas that have already been concreted..
